Recipe
- Put sliced bread in toaster.
- Acquire protein.
- Make a meatloaf, turkey, or some chicken for a hot meal last night and couldn’t finish it? Grab that, slice thinly with knife, and heat it up a little in the microwave.
- Once bread is toasted, build sandwich how you would like.
- Cut sandwich diagonally for more of a lunch-y feel.
I enjoy a cold sandwich as much as next the person, which means that a warm sandwich is likely a lot better. A sandwich for lunch typically feels like a rushed affair, but taking the time to add some heat, using leftovers instead of store-bought lunchmeat, and toasting bread makes a huge difference.
